Stronghold 2 took FireFly's castle sim into full 3D in 2005, which is why so many of its keys are about the camera: rotate, zoom, flatten to a top-down view, or climb the keep for the Lord's Eye view. The rest are panel shortcuts. One letter opens the granary, barracks, market or treasury without moving the camera away from what you are building.
