Resident Evil Keyboard & Controller Controls
Resident Evil is the 2015 HD Remaster of Capcom's 2002 remake of the original Spencer Mansion nightmare, played as Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine. The keyboard keys below are the PC defaults from Capcom's own PC manual. Controller buttons come from Capcom's Xbox One manual for the same remaster and use the default Alternate control type: the left stick moves relative to the camera, while the D-pad keeps the tank-style steering of the Original type. Doors, ladders, item boxes and typewriter saves all go through the one Action key.
